2021 Chardonnay

I aged this wine for three years in new French Oak barrels on the Lees. During that time, I removed the Chardonnay wine, blended it in tank, cleaned the barrels and added Viognier Lees and put the wine back into barrel. To add layers of texture to the wine I stirred the Lees back into solution two times a week. 

This Chardonnay has aromas of mature oak on the nose with hints of pear, apple and a touch of butter. On the palate bright acidity hits first with fresh pear and apple notes followed by  a savory creamy mouth feel and hints of butter on the finish.
